On the early morning of October 15, 2024 at 3:15 am at McLeod Medical Center, Barbara Brown McClam transitioned from her earthly home.

Barbara Brown McClam born October 14, 1962 to Lottie Miller Burgess and Cecil Hannah of Lake City, SC.

She received her formal education from Lake City High school in Lake City, SC and was a member of the Track Team.

Barbara worked various jobs in the health care field.

Barbara was united in Holy Matrimony to Terry McClam on November 15, 2015.

She was a member of Ambassadors for Christ Worship  Assembly in Effingham, SC, where she served as a member of the Usher Board.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Lottie Miller Burgess and Cecil Hannah, sisters Linda B Jones, Francine Gaskins, and brother Lee Rogers "Sonny Jr"  Burgess.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Terry McClam of Florence, SC; daughters Tyechia Brown (Lawrence Manning) of Florence, SC, Malaya (Maurice) Simmons of Florence, SC; sons Quennell Brown (Jasmine Cotton) of Florence, SC, Reginald (Jenny) Lawson of Fort Riley, Kansas and Antonio (Jatrelle) Brown of Columbia, SC; fifteen loving grandchildren Jayden Lawson, Sakura Jordan, Kyndall Graham, Carsyn Simmons, Jayla Lawson, Carlee Simmons, Aiya Lawson, Piper Brown, Xavier Lawson, Quincy Manning (NiNi), Christian (Kiyah) Manning, Avionna Gathers, Tyler Simmons, Dedrick Hannah, and Bella Ramirez; sister Geraldine Williams of Johnsonville, SC; three brothers Carl (Yolanda) Brown, Jimmy (Ula) Burgess and Charkeem McFadden; mother-in-law Lonnie Singletary; sister-in-law Brenda MClam; six brothers-in-law Jerry McClam, Clary McClam, Charles McClam, David (Miranda) McClam, Jason McClam, and Ernest Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, adopted daughters, sons, relatives, and friends.

Geraldine Williams of Johnsonville, SC and three brothers; Carl (Yolanda) Brown, Jimmy (Ula) Burgess of Stone Mountain, GA, and Charkeem McFadden of Florence, SC.
