Beulah Lue Jones was born April 9, 1936 to the late Ellis and Charity Jones in Lake City, SC. She grew up in rural Florence County before moving to Scranton, SC. On Sunday, February 23, 2025 she departed this earthly life into eternal rest.

She received her formal education in the Florence County Public School System and worked as a housekeeper until retiring.

Lue accepted Christ at an early age and was the Mother of Savannah Grove FWB Church Coward SC, a member of the Pastors Aid, Missionary Society and Usher Board. She loved her Church Family dearly and enjoyed watching TV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law Doris Jones, and sisters-in-law  Rosa Jones and Cardell Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Lamar Jones of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren all of New York Kim Jones, Shalae Jones, Sheena (Sandeep) Basu, Capri (Jasmine) Jones, six great grand children; two sisters and four brothers Ruth Brown of Florence, SC, Clarence Jones of Bronx, NY, Leroy (Catherine) Jones of Scranton, SC, Jesse Jones of  Kannapolis, NC, Millie Hillian of Columbia, SC, and Luther Ray Jones of Lancaster, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.
