Brian Dion Wilder was born on March 8, 1978 in Florence, SC to Sheila E. Wilder and Glenn E. Smith, Jr.  He transitioned from this earthly life on October 17, 2024.

Brian was educated in Florence School District One and was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1997.

He was a faithful member of Maxwell Baptist Church where he cultivated his love of God and his love of singing on choirs. He was a current member of the praise team.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother Sheila E. Wilder, father Glenn E. Smith, Jr., paternal grandparents Florine P. Smith and Glenn E. Smith, Sr., maternal grandfather Woodrow B. Wilder, uncle and aunt who helped raise him Eric R. Wilder and Darlene G. Brantley.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother (mama) Rosa L. Wilder; aunts who helped raise him, Wanda W. Fulmore and Marcia W. (Harold) Brown; siblings Glenn E. (Mandy) Smith III, Julius A. (Ashley) Smith, James (Kristen) Clausell, Crystal Davis, C. Asrielle Smith, Ruthenia "Niki" (LaToya) Mack, and Gilbert Burgess; bonus mom Cynthia Smith; aunt Pastor Florine "Cissy" S. (Cecil) Johnson; devoted friend Rashaad "Keem" Pompey; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends all of whom will miss Brian dearly!
