Carl Thomas (Tommy) Martin age 75, was born in Harlem, New York on March 4, 1947 to (Parents Name). He departed this earthly life into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

He attended PS 142 and PS 122. He later graduated from Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree in business administration from Francis Marion College. Carl was employed at the New York City Transit Authority. He later worked for New York Life Insurance before he retired to be with his family.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Shirley Martin to this union one son was born.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Carl leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 plus years Shirley Martin; son Carl A. and Joshaulynn Martin; their god Daughter Ilaieh (Lae) Greene, two sisters Juana Martin and Diann Rollins; one nephew Jon Karl (Sonny) and April Martin; one great nephew Travon Martin, three great nieces Khourtnee, Kharlee, and Khylee; one great-great niece Karlie; along with a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
