Creola Cynthia Martin, daughter of the late Cepheus and Loner Dingle Martin, was born on August 19, 1957, in Darlington County. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Ms. Martin attended Lamar High School, graduating with the class of 1972,  and earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Florence Darlington Technical College in 1975. She served Craig Industries in Lamar, SC, for over thirty years until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Wilson and Janie Ham Martin and Warren Dingle, sisters Margie M. Taylor and Effie Lyde, as well as her brothers Quincy Martin and Obie Martin.

She is survived by her brothers Mr. Woodrow (Phyllis) Martin and Mr. Hadley Martin of Timmonsville, SC; her sisters Mrs. Jannie (David) Cannon of Darlington, SC, and Mrs. Janice (Derrick) Jefferson of Florence, SC; a niece raised in the home as a sister, Monday Martin of Timmonsville, SC. Among those she cared for as family are her niece Courtney Martin and her three children, Shi'Yonna Martin, Kayden Harrison, and Nyla Harrison of Society Hill, SC. Creola also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives who will miss her dearly.
