Mr. David Reese was born on January 15, 1958, to William and Lydia Louvenia Reese in Florence County, South Carolina. In the late afternoon on Saturday, February 26, 2022, he was called into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family.

He was a lifelong member of St. Mark AME Church where he served on several ministries including Junior Steward Board, Men's Choir, usher, and lead security. He was also an active member of the outreach ministry during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

David attended public schools of Florence County and graduated from Johnsonville High School with the class of 1976. After his discharge he was employed by several companies including Wellman, Delta Mills, and most recently Charles Ingram Lumber Co. for the last 15 years.

David was very active in his community, and he was very well known for his love of sports.
