Dorothy Hammond daughter of the late James Hammond and the late Geneva Aldrich was born July 23, 1950 in McBee, SC. She departed this earthly life on January18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leave to cherish her memories: children, Anthony Scott, Angela Scott and Levern (Cheree) Scott; nine grandchildren Bryant, BB, Miracle, Cameron, Carmen, Warrer, Derrick, Timothy and Tiffany; brother Jack (Barana) Hammond; sisters Margeann Ponds, Kathy Hammond and Janice (Champ) Johnson; a host  of  nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
