Today we celebrate her life—a life that touched so many, a life well lived, and a love that will never be forgotten.

Freda Paige, daughter of Sandra Paige and Freddie Paige was a woman of faith, and resilience. Even through life's challenges, she remained steady, offering love and wisdom with a gentle smile. She was born in Florence, South Carolina at McLeod on October 7, 1974. Unfortunately she departed from us on April 3, 2025.

She received her formal education in Florence One School District and was a graduate of Wilson High, class of 1992.

Her legacy lives on in the values she taught us, the love she showed us, and the memories she leaves behind. She loved to cook, she made that apart of her lifestyle. Freda was a very  hard worker, being employed with Golden Corral & Ruby Tuesdays for over ten years. Her coworkers cherished having her around. She never served without a smile.

More than anything, she loved her children. She poured herself into raising them, guiding them with patience, sacrifice, and a deep, unconditional love. Her pride in her family was evident in everything she did. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She absolutely adored her grandkids—each one held a special place in her heart. She especially shared a beautiful, close bond with her grandson Braylen, who brought her endless joy, laughter and love.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Boone Simmons, aunt Linda Fitzgerald and cousin Justin Simmons.
