Fredrick Lachoun Brown, Jr. was born in Florence, SC on July 17,1997 to Lakesha Michelle Dubose and Fredrick Lachoun Brown, Sr. Fredrick entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2024.
He attended Florence School and Darlington School Districts. He graduated in 2016 from Darlington High school. After graduating he enlisted in the Army Reserve where he completed six years and was honorably discharged in Feb 2022. Fredrick continued his education in many ways, he became a pharmacy technician and worked at CVS pharmacy for a while and later he became a CNA. "I always wanted to go to an HBCU'', is what Fredrick would say. He was able to attended Fayetteville State University to get his BSN in Social Work. He was looking forward to working with younger kids and veterans. He moved to Charlotte three months ago to start his internship working with kids. He was a family oriented man and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also loved spending time and taking his dog Chapo on walks in downtown Charlotte and the park. He was a true social butterfly and would spark conversations with anybody and always stayed true to himself and strived to be better.
All in his words, Fredrick will be remembered through his kind heart, his infectious smile and his passion for helping others. He cherished time spent with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Fredrick is survived by his mother Lakesha Dubose (fiancé Keat Wingate) and father Fredrick Brown, Sr.; two sisters Sha'Kera Brown and Calesha Brown; brothers Justin Dubose, Malik Brown and Shy'Quan Brown; grandmothers Annie Ruth James Dubose and Cynthia Brown; great grandmother Maxine Mack; nieces Kylin Ennis and Auriella Harris; nephew Zaiden Brown Dawson; special aunts Vanessa (Brian) Hodges and Tamega Dubose; special cousin Latorsha Mack; special friend Jasmine Stuart; best friends Phil Baldwin and Donzell Hennigan; a host of other relatives, and friends.
