Mr. Israel Davis was born on September 3, 1951 in Florence County to Isaac Davis and Dulie B. Davis. He entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2024.

Israel was a member of St. Luke AME Church in Johnsonville, SC. Israel faith was in God, whom he trusted and believed until his last breath.

He received his formal education in Florence County Public Schools. After school he was employed with Wellman Industries for many years and various jobs until he retired.

"Isaboy" as he was called by many was a serious die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and a baseball player with the St. Luke Baseball team. There wasn't a person that he didn't speak to or helped, no matter who they were.

Israel was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daren G. Davis.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife Mable Davis of the home, son TyJuan D. Davis; stepdaughter Ericka M. Burgess; four grandchildren Hakeem, Ishmail, My'Aisha and Ty'Aisha; one great grandson Messiah; two sisters Ruth Robinson and Doris (Phil) Thaxton; five brothers Nathan Davis, Rickey Davis, Hughes (Prinzella) Davis, Joseph Belin and Issac (Priscilla) Davis; four    sisters-in-law Shirley Ann Dorsey, Chrisha Taylor, Gloria Davis and Janet (Elter) Waymer; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends LB Belin, Harry Blane and Vanessa Durant.
