Jimmy Jerome George, Sr. was born on July 19, 1956 in Florence, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Mrs. Dora Wright George and Mr. James Jasper Cusaac, Sr. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2026 at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by loved ones.

Jimmy attended the public schools of Florence County. He attended Savannah Grove Baptist Church every once in a while. He also worked in many capacities until his health failed.

Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister, Adele George; three brothers, Steven Cusaac, Johnny George, and Gary Cusaac; a brother-in-law, Michael Black and three nephews, Renardo George, Brandon George, and Andre Wardy.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his love and memories, his partner, Rosa Lee, of the home; his children, Lashawn George, Lashea George, Shavon (Ervin) Harkless, Dion (Chiketta) Gilliard, Tunis Gilliard, and Jimmy, Jr. (Heather) Gilliard; grandchildren, Daeshawn (Infinite) George; Andrea Godbolt, Corey McFadden, Dorian Godbolt, Lisa Montgomery, Kynedi Sams, Romelio Riley, Kalayah Gilliard, Jimmy "Justus" Gilliard, Katheryn Gilliard, Donta Gilliard, Dion Gilliard, Jordan Gilliard, Taniya Boyd, KJ Gilliard, Damauri Gilliard, Jaxson Gilliard, Damariane Johnson, and El-Rionna Johnson; great grandchildren, Savannah Lockhart, Ivory George, Major Woods, and Xavier Gilliard; five sisters, Sarah Goodson, Dora Jacobs, Terri (Jermaine) Rucker, Paula Black, and Clara McFadden; one brother, James (Mattie) Cusaac, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Barr and Anna Cusaac; one brother-in-law, Freddie Lewis; special nieces and nephews who were also caregivers, Dana George, Ke'Shawn George, Kei'Mone Graves, and Ke'Niaya Graves; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
