John Douglas Woodberry was born December 25, 1951 to Benjamin Woodberry and Alberta Woodberry. He departed this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

John was a member of  St. Luke AME Church in Johnsonville, SC.

He was employed as a semi-truck driver for over 30 years. John was a very kind and loving person.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Benjamin Woodberry, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Lula A. Woodberry of Pamplico, SC; two daughters Sylvia Woodberry Deas of Pamplico, SC and Angel Woodberry of Johnsonville, SC; step-son Malachi Woodberry of Pamplico, SC; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five sisters Bertha L. Stuckey of Charlotte, NC, Carolyn, Mary, Gloria and Mae all of Albany, NY; brother Lawrence (Harriett) Woodberry of Centerville, NY; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
