On Thursday, November 7, 2024, God saw Justin Simmons growing weary and knew the only cure was to bring him home. So He put His arms around him and whispered, "Come to me." Justin closed his eyes and peacefully went with God.

Born October 7, 1983 the youngest son of Eyvonne W. Simmons and Tyrone Johnson. Justin grew up in Mt. Kisco, New York.

He was a graduate of Fox Lane School District. He worked for several years in Georgia as a HVAC Tech.

During his youthful years, Justin loved traveling to Florence, South Carolina spending time with his grandparents Doretha and Fred (Boone) Simmons.

He was preceded in death by his father Tyrone Johnson, grandparents Fred Simmons and Horace and Lillian A. Johnson, godparents Harriett and Richard Blackwell, aunts Linda Fitzgerald and Alice Brockington and uncle Glenn Simmons.

Justin's love will be continually shared and cherished by his  beloved children Jiovanni Simmons-Sanchez of Florida, Jiavanna Simmons of Nebraska and Austin Davis of Charleston, SC;  his mother Eyvonne Simmons of Charlotte, NC; siblings Jason Simmons, Tyrone Johnson, Raquel Johnson, Devonna (Charles) Williams, Tonya (Eddie) Davis, Robert Brown and Cassandra Brown; special nephew Jaydin Simmons; very special cousin Terry Redden; godmother Debra Murray; aunts and uncles Sandra Paige, Connie Redden, Amy Pressley, Freddie Mae Simmons, Glady Moses, Donella Turner, Pat Simmons, Shellie Stevens, Dorothy Giddins, Edna Widder, Horace Johnson, Grace Johnson, Marion Mulligan, Danny  Simmons, Fredrick (Frances) Simmons, Andrew (Cheryl) Simmons; a special aunt Vickie Simmons; god sisters Denotia Simon, Brittany Storms, Najel Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
