Kathleen "Beulah Mae" Grant was born on September 26, 1935 in Florence County to Mattie Brown and John Brown. She departed this earthly life after an extended illness on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at McCoy Memorial Nursing Center in Bishopville, SC.

She was educated in the public school of Florence County and was a homemaker. Kathleen was a lifelong member of The House of God Keith Dominion, Pamplico, SC where she served   faithfully until her health failed.

Kathleen was joined in holy matrimony to Roosevelt Grant, Sr. They were blessed with seven children and from a previous marriage there was three children.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Roosevelt Grant, Sr., her mother Mattie Brown, her father John Brown, brother Luther Brown, daughter Dianne "Sherby" Grant, four sons Sanders Lee Grant, Sr., Nelson Grant, William Grant, and Allen Grant, three grandchildren  Sharonda Hyman, Jeffery Grant and Sanders Lee "Snapper" Grant, Jr.

Kathleen leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Roosevelt (Linda) Grant, Jr. of Blythewood, SC, LC (Cynthia) Grant, and CW Grant both of Pamplico, SC; two daughters Annette (Joe Nathan) Lewis of Effingham, SC, and Annie Bell Smith of  Winston Salem, NC; one sister Mary A. Gordon of Pamplico, SC; two brothers Ervin (Mary) Brown, Jr. of Columbia SC, and Lee Earn Brown of Pamplico SC; thirteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
