Mr. Marcus A. Ellis was 29, and departed this life on Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Florence, SC.

Services are scheduled to be held 12 noon Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Majority Baptist Church, 414 N. Coit St. Florence, SC.

Mr. Marcus Antonio Ellis was the son of Valicia Lisa Ellis Bacote and Melton  Campbell Jr. He was born on December 10, 1993 in Florence, SC, his untimely  death was on December 18, 2022 at the age of 29.

Marcus attended the public schools of Florence, SC. He received a trade as a barber  and a certificate in welding. He was employed by Hardee's.

Marcus was very family oriented, he was a loving father to his kids. He enjoyed  reading, love listening to music and was very adventurous.

He was preceded in death by his sister Shenintqua Mango, and grandmothers  Barbara Campbell and Delilah Ellis.

Marcus leaves to cherish his memories: children, Sky'on Mikel Ellis and Mariah A.  Ellis of Texas, Marcus Ellis Jr. and Lyrik Ellis of Bishopville, SC; his parents  Melton (Jennifer) Campbell Jr, and Valicia Lisa (Odell) Bacote of Florence, SC;  three sisters Gabrielle Ellis and Alicia (Keith) Mack of Niagra Falls, NY and Jessia  Johnson of Florence, SC; three brothers Maurice L Ellis, Jimmy Ellis Jr, and  Antonio Hudson all of Florence, SC; best friend and confidant Brishae Leak; five  aunts Shanale Ellis; Barbara (James) Griffin, Christy (Joe) Gregg, Rachael (Keith)  McCray, Asertha Taylor; three uncles Tommy (Lorraine) Ellis, Willie Ellis and  Leland (Marlean) Campbell; one great aunt Emma Bess; two great uncles Dozier  Ellis and LC (Diane) Ellis; Beverly Ann Black, the community aunt; a host of  nieces, nephews, best friends Aquan Lee and Thomas Jones and other relatives and  friends.
