Marjorie J. (Margie) Spann, 83 entered the sunset of her life Thursday, June 19,
2025 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC. Margie was born on August
1, 1941 to Leroy and Lucille Jordan Sr.
Margie was educated in Florence County Schools.
Margie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior early in life.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her parents Leroy and Lucille Jordan Sr.,
grandparents, husband Robert E. Spann, brother Willie Lee Jordan, step-son
William "Chris" Spann-Jackson and great grandson Lennox B. Johnson.
Margie leaves to cherish and to carry on her legacy of love: her daughter, Rosaline
S. Cobb of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter DeMiya'(Travares) Johnson of
Newport News, VA, grandson Michael (Kathryn) Cobb, Jr. of Newport News,
VA:3great grandchildren Ayanna and Ashton Cobb and Atlas Johnson, siblings;
Leroy (Louise) Jordan, Herman (Azalee) Jordan, Harry Lee Jordan and Marsella
Jordan all of Florence, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and
her special caregiver Shonte Witherspoon.
Margie was a loving person and to know her was to love her. She left an amazing
impact and had a laugh that was contagious. She will be deeply missed but never
forgotten.
