Helen Cokley Williams was born to  Jothro Cokley and  Margaret S. Cokley on December 6, 1925 in Georgetown County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life into eternal rest on May 17, 2025.

Helen was educated in the public school of Georgetown, South Carolina. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Gospel choir at Hopewell African Methodist Episcopal Church.

She was gainfully employed as a domestic engineer (housekeeper) for many years at Coachman Inn in Hemingway, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and one great grandchild.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters, Francis Graham of Johnsonville SC, and Gail Williams of Hemingway SC; nine grandchildren, Lovone (Teleica) Williams, William (Kietra) Willams, Francine (Thedore) Anderson, Tyron Williams Yalonda (Terry) Kayte, Jerryly (Dolly) Williams, Teresa Williams, Thomas Williams, Dennis Desae; a host of great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
