Reverend Richard Allen Keith was born on March 20, 1948 to John & Eva Mae Keith, Sr. in Pamplico, South Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Southland Healthcare Center.

Reverend Keith was educated in the Florence County public school system and graduated from Gibbs High School in Pamplico, South Carolina. He was employed by Florence Carpet and Tile for many years and in his later years he provided security services for Carolina Hospital Systems, Poyner Adult Education Center, and Harbor Freight.

Reverend Keith was a member of the House of God Evergreen, in Effingham, South Carolina as an Associate  Minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother George E. Keith.

Those left to cherish his fond and precious memories are his loving family, one loving sister Mrs. Marceil (Curly) Ford, of Latta, SC; five brothers John E. (Reverend Pearly) Keith, Jr. of Pamplico, SC, Wendell (Gloria) Keith of Florence, SC, Quentin Keith Sr. of Middletown CT, Kent (Carol) Keith of Bluff City, TN, Kenneth (Evette) Keith of Roanoke, VA; two sisters-in-law Della Keith and Nelba J. Pressley; special friend of the family Orlean T. Keith; a host of  nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
