Sylvester (Knockdown) Gregg, Jr. was born March 26, 1957 to Mr. Sylvester Gregg, Sr. and Mrs. Jammia Johnson Gregg in Florence, SC. He transitioned peacefully on December 26, 2023.

Sylvester was educated in the Florence County Public Schools. He was employed for many years at Greyhound Bus Station.

He lived life to the fullest and was an avid sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents   Mr. Sylvester Gregg, Sr. and Mrs. Jammia Johnson Gregg; two sisters Ms. Francine Davis and Ms. Julie Marie Gregg.

He leaves to cherish his memory a brother Mr. Ell Gregg of Florence, SC; two sisters Ms. Patricia Gregg of Florence, SC and Mrs. Betty Gregg (Ralph) Ham of  Covington, GA, two nieces, one nephew; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
