Wilbur J. Green, the son of the late Wilbur James and Queen Elizabeth Green was born on December 9, 1959, in Florence County. He departed this life on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his residence.

He attended the public schools of Florence County.

Wilbur was employed with ESAB, and  Burger King as a manager of Florence County until his health declined.

Wilbur enjoyed working on cars and taking trips. He was a hardworking  man and very family oriented.

In addition to his parents, Wilbur was preceded in death by his daughter Brandalyn Witherspoon, sister, grandmother and uncles.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his lovely wife Sheila Green of Florence, SC; three daughters Toccara (Alonzo) Ballard, Shakita Lewis, Taisa (Jesus) Lewis all of Florence, SC; eight grandchildren Za'Korah, Rashad, Sincere, Chad, Ma'Kayla, Jarrell, Shemariah and Jasiniyah; one great-grandchild Dominick; one sister Patricia Fullwood of Petersburg, VA; two sisters-in-law Clemetine Lee and Christine Lewis both of Florence, SC; special  nephew Terrell Fullwood; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
