Ms. Willette Tanyette Burrell, daughter of the late Willie Hickson and Mae Frances Jones Burrell Eaddy, was born on July 1, 1974, in Florence, South Carolina. On Thursday, March 19, 2026, she peacefully departed this earthly home and entered eternal rest.

Willette attended the public schools of Florence County. She was a woman of faith who loved the Lord. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and in 2000, she became a devoted member of True  Holiness Church of Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruthie B. Ragin, Joretha Lynn Williams Kirk, and Jennifer Irene Williams.

Willette leaves to cherish her loving memories, her children Kedia (Demontrey) Lacy, Shadajah Brockington and Camarie Brockington all of Florence, South Carolina; thirteen grandchildren who will forever hold her love in their hearts; a sister, Jessie Mae Burrell Bacote of Florence, South Carolina; her brothers, Willie (Jaci) Burrell of Florence, South Carolina, and Kedrick (Melissa) Burrell of Killeen, Texas; a special friend, Ricky Johnson; brother-in-law Johnny Ragin; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, great-aunts, other relatives, and dear friends.

Those who shared a special bond with her family also include Deven Bacchus, Mya Asencio, Lottia Hines and Laquana Johnson.

Willette will be remembered for her faith, her strength, and the love she gave so freely to her family and all who knew her. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
