Agnes Davis Owens was born on August 27, 1945, to the late Henry and Janie Davis in Saint Mary, Marion, South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the home of her daughter.

Affectionately known as "WeWe" Agnes was a devoted soldier in God's army who loved the Lord deeply and found joy in ministering to others about the goodness of Jesus. Her faith guided her daily life and interactions, touching the hearts of those around her.

Throughout her life, Agnes cherished taking care of her husband and children, finding fulfillment in her role as a wife and mother. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Owens, son, Joe Lewis Wright, and her grandson, Lakim Rashad Wright.

Agnes will be dearly missed, and the memories of her life will be cherished by her children Paul (Elaine) Wright of Florence, SC; Jerome Wright of Newark, NJ; Jacquline Wright of Sumter, SC;  Stephanie Wright of Florence, SC; Zerrane Wright of Mullins, SC; and Frank Wright of Florence, SC; a great grandson she reared in the home, Amaury Addison; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sara Hughes of Florence, SC; daughter in heart, Tasha Moody of Florence, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.
