Angelique Smith Obituary
Angelique Cylvette Smith was born to the Thomas and Mary Smith on April 25, 1968 in London, England. She was the eldest of five children, a natural leader whose presence radiated warmth, grace, and undeniable style.
She graduated from South Florence High School and later dedicated several years of service to the Carolina Hospital System, touching lives with her kindness and compassion. But beyond her career, Angelique's greatest devotion was to her faith and family. From an early age, she committed her life to Christ and was baptized at Wayside Baptist Church in Florence, South Carolina, where her spiritual journey began.
Angelique's love for fashion and flair was unmatched. She adorned herself with exquisite hats and beautiful clothing, always carrying herself with the confidence and poise of a true queen. Her favorite color, purple, symbolizing royalty and creativity, beautifully reflected her radiant spirit and graceful elegance. Angelique's vibrant spirit was one that turned ordinary moments into cherished memories. She found immense joy in music, especially the artistry of Prince.
Angelique's legacy of love continues through her children: Delia (Barton) Timmons and Chappelle (Sasha) Smith, and the deep pride she carried for her seven grandchildren: Caleb, Noah, Sebastian, Montonio, Auna, Mina, and Jacob. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings: Rev. Noel (Genia) Smith, Rachelle Smith, Rochelle Smith, Christopher Gee; a bonus sister Joyce Davis, a special friend Leon Keith as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were blessed by her kindness, wisdom, and infectious personality.
