Annette Louise McKenzie was born on September 30, 1968 to Janie Mae McKenzie and Harris Brunson in Florida.  She transitioned peacefully on September 21, 2023.

Annette was educated by the Darlington County School District.

She lived a life full of joy and unapologetically by her own rules.

She was  proceeded in death by her parents, Harris Brunson and Janie-Mae McKenzie, maternal grandparents Johnnie Boyd and Hattie-Mae McKenzie, and sister Penny Clay.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories three children, Angelica McKenzie of the home, Robert Patrick III of Darlington, SC and Valencia Johnson of Florence, SC; only grandchild, Tristan Solomon and family friend, Marvin Miller of the home; two aunts, a niece and nephew, as well a host of cousins and friends.
