Reign Niona Jones, daughter of Donald Jones and Faith Gregg was born on July 30, 2024 at McLeod, weighing 4 lbs. and 1.3 oz.

After birth, she was transferred to MUSC Shawn Jenkins hospital where she underwent seven surgeries. She faced numerous challenges but overcame them each time.

After 255 days of hospitalization, Reign returned home to live with her family. Her personality was distinctive; she enjoyed playing with toys, talking, and being read to by her family. Every morning at 5:00 AM, she would wake her father up and see him off to work.

Reign passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 6:06 PM, weighing 16 lbs. and 12 oz. She is survived by her parents, Donald Jones and Faith Gregg; one sister, Reagan Mcknight; one brother, Donyir Singleton; two grandmothers; Crystal Brown and Shelia Burroughs; three great grandmothers Celia Howe, Carrie  Fleming and Lila Ruth Burroughs; two god mothers, Tiffan'e Craig and Taya McKoy along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
