Elisha Tohnyette McCall, was born on November 26, 1973 in Bishopville, SC. She was the daughter of Clara and the late George McCall, Sr. Elisha accomplished her earthly journey at 52 years old on January 22, 2026.

In 1991, Elisha graduated from Bishopville High School. Then she attended Columbia Junior College. Elisha had a passion for children also, which allowed her to spend time floating throughout Lee County School District for some time. She then later obtained her CNA License.

Our mom (ma-ma/grandma) was our star that shined so bright. She spent many days playing music and singing to her Nugget and T-Bone. Coloring, card games, crossword puzzles and candy crush was what she enjoyed. She always shared words of encouragement to each of us to keep us going. Her favorite football players were her sons. Cooking was one of her favorite things she enjoyed, she even taught her daughter-in-law new things. Sewing was her insider skill that she would use when doing her daughter's hair. She taught us very well leading into independence but she didn’t teach us how to live without her.

Elisha was preceded in death by her father George McCall Sr, grandfather Evans Carter, Jr., grandmother Louise McCall, grandfather Eunice McCall, brother in law Larry Myers, and a special cousin Chanell Stephens.

Elisha leaves behind her beloved children Tavon (Shanara) McCall of Bishopville, SC, Tekeilya Richardson of Camden, SC, Tierra Richardson, Trenton Richardson, Triston Richardson of Bishopville, SC and a special daughter Joniah Joe of Bishopville, SC; four grandchildren, Tavis McDonald, Taylin McDonald, Tyson McCall and Tavon McCall of Bishopville, SC; mother, Clara McCall of Bishopville, SC; grandmother Annie Lou Carter of Bishopville, SC; god parents Rosa and Henry Addison of Bishopville, SC; five sisters Elissa Myers of Sumter, SC, Shawn McCall of Florence, SC, Sheritta Joyner of Columbia, SC, Georgette McCall of Bishopville, SC and Gretchen McCall of Sumter, SC and one brother George McCall, Jr. of Bishopville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, four special friends Frances Green, Latasha Slater, Melissa Moses and Monica Reddick, other relatives and friends.
