Hope S. Anderson Obituary

Hope Selena Anderson, born September 28, 1980, in Florence, South Carolina, gained her heavenly rest on September 10, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Hope was the daughter of the late Charlene Anderson and Isaac Anderson.

She graduated from West Florence High School and grew into a strong, loving woman who carried both courage and compassion everywhere she went. Hope was truly big-hearted; the type of woman who gave endlessly to those she loved yet stood strong and took no nonsense from anyone.

She shared her life with her significant other, Wydell Fullard, and together they built a family filled with love. She was the proud mother of Natimothy Anderson (wife Ebony and their children Malcolm and May’son), Wyatt Fullard, and her youngest child, Alonzo Mamford—who has also gone home to rest with her. The bond between Hope and her children was unbreakable, and her love as a mother will continue to shine through them.

Hope’s siblings will forever carry her memory in their hearts: Lavern Carter, Judy Anderson (significant other  Roosevelt “Boo-Boo” Williams), Isaac Anderson (wife Patricia Anderson), Russell Anderson, and Ronnie Lee Anderson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were touched by her life.

Hope’s life was one of love, strength, and resilience. She was known for her warm spirit, her humor, her honesty, and her ability to make everyone around her feel both loved and protected. To know Hope was to know someone who would give you her last, and yet stand tall in the face of anything life threw her way.

Hope Selena Anderson’s life was a true testimony of love, strength, and faith. She had a heart that embraced everyone around her — family, friends, and even strangers who quickly became family. Hope was the type of woman who stood firm in who she was, never afraid to speak her mind, yet always willing to extend kindness, compassion, and generosity to those in need.

Her children were her greatest joy, and she poured every ounce of herself into making sure they knew love, security, and guidance. The bond she shared with each of them was rooted in patience, laughter, and unconditional love. Though her journey on earth has ended, her lessons, her wisdom, and her love live on in them and in all who knew her.

Hope leaves behind a legacy of strength that reminds us to stand tall, to love fiercely, and to cherish every moment. Though we grieve her passing, we also celebrate the beauty of her spirit — a spirit that will never be forgotten.
