Ms. Jacquelyn Durant was born on February 21, 1956, in Florence, South Carolina, to the late Carrie Bell (Union Mitchell) Durant and Ernest (Margaret) Graham. Jacquelyn entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at MUSC in Marion, South Carolina.

Jacquelyn received her education in the public school system in Pamplico, SC and was formerly employed at Tupperware in Hemingway, SC, and Allied Signal in Conway, SC.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life cooking, fishing, and bringing happiness to those around her. Her warm spirit and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Maggie Mae Singletary, and her three brothers, Jerry   Durant, Johnny Lee Durant, and Joseph Durant.

Those left to cherish her loving memories include her devoted daughter, Jacqueline Durant of the home; three grandchildren Kaneshia Durant, Courtney (Brandon) Durant and Na'Quan Durant all of Johnsonville, SC; six great-grandchildren, Landon, Karter, Curi, Karson, Bailee, and Jazlyn; four sisters Carolyn (John) Smith of Johnsonville, SC, Mary Durant of Gresham, SC, Celia (Isaac) Barr and Keichia Graham both of Hemingway, SC; two brothers, Jerome (Sharon) Durant of Johnsonville, SC and Willie James (Jackie) Graham of Newburg, NC; one uncle and five aunts; five bonus granddaughters, Allardrekia Cain, Allarquashia Cain, Tracie Davis, Allarquana Cain, Urshula Davis and a special granddaughter Dallus Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
