Mr. James Wesley Robinson Sr. was 69, and departed this life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Florence, SC.
Services are scheduled to be held 3pm Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Pentecostal United Church of Christ, Apostolic (Convention Center) 4430 Pamplico Hwy, Florence, SC.

Mr. James W. Robinson Sr. son of the late Wesley and Lila Hemingway Robinson was born on April 29, 1953. On Saturday, March 4, 2023 he peacefully slipped from time to eternity after a brief illness.
Carl as he was affectionately known, attended the public schools of Florence County and served in The United States Army and retired as a Staff Sergeant.
Carl was employed with numerous construction companies where he was foreman. He was a member of Howard Chapel Freewill Baptist
Church, where he served on the trustee board and sang on The Willing Workers Choir. He was a part of The Mellowtone Gospel Singers of Timmonsville for numerous years where he was assistant and booking manager.
On February 25, 1978 he married the love of his life Mrs. Ruby Lee Fulton Robinson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby L. Fulton Robinson, a grandson, Kamrin Robinson, two sisters, Hattie Mae Davis and LouAnn Stuckey, Five brother in laws and one sister in law.
Carl leaves to cherish his memories, Five children, Nikki Robinson, Asleasa (Savoy) Mack, Wesley Robinson, James W. Robinson Jr. all of Florence, SC and Corey (Whitney) Robinson of Salisbury, NC. Nine Grandchildren, Shaleeka, Gregory, Brandon, Kyle, Taylor, Cortney, Corey Jr, Carmicheal and Colbie. Two Great- Grandchildren, Savannah and Brooklyn. Five sisters, Ammie McKnight of Georgetown, SC, Cora Nixon of Amityville, NY, Reverend Adelaide Brown, Jannie Sanders, and Carrie (Alex) Brown all of Florence, SC. Two brothers, James Davis and Willie (Evelyn) Hemingway both of Florence, SC. Five sister in laws, 6 brother in laws, Special Friends: Bridgette (Victor) Rivers, Karen Jackson, Tim Smith, Rich Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
