James Welman Taylor Russell was born on August 11, 1999 to his parents Lynn Taylor and Kate Russell in Concord, NH.

From an early age, Jamie demonstrated a keen interest in noodling on any musical instrument, painting with wild abandon, reading Shel Silverstein poems and joyfully dancing around the room when the spirit moved him. His early artistic interests flourished during his elementary and high school years. Jamie went on to make many contributions to the Destination Imagination teams, theater groups and rock bands he played in.

After high school graduation, Jamie moved with his family to Florence, SC where he continued creating amazing and impactful art and composing music on his guitar.

What remains at the end of the day is the joy, hope and love Jamie so freely gave us. As we remember the ease with which he smiled, the quirky humor he shared, the spontaneous “I just wanted to hug you,” and the “I love you” heard across the room, we will be forever grateful that he blessed our lives.

Memories of Jamie will live on with his moms Lynn and Kate; siblings Chris, Maria and Louis; niece Elsea; nephews Kody, Nate and Ryan; his extended family and his amazing friends from all over the world.
