James Wesley Washington III (JT) son of James Wesley Washington, Jr. and the late Joyce Ann Washington was born August 13, 1981 in Florence County. He departed this earthly life on June 25, 2025 at MUSC.

JT received his education and graduated from Hannah-Pamplico High School class of 1999. He was currently pursuing his BA in Business from Davidson County Community College.

JT left SC after graduating high school and pursued his passion of being a CDL driver. When he wasn’t in the truck you could catch him at the fishing hole.

JT was preceded in death by his mother Joyce Ann Washington, sister Vernetta Washington Brunson, maternal and paternal grandparents.

JT leaves to cherish his memories daughters Shanda Williamson, Chastity Washington, Cassidy Washington, Shyquria Washington, Keturah Washington all of Winston Salem, NC; sons Semaj Washington and Uzias Washington of Winston Salem, NC; father James W. (Frances) Washington, Jr. of Florence, SC; sisters Kidada Graham of Effingham, SC and Stephanie Washington of Pamplico, SC; two special friends like sisters Pearlene Commissiong and Tiffani Myers both of Florence, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
