On Saturday, October 19, 2024, God sent an angel for His beloved servant, Jasper Graham, home to rest. Jasper was born October 7, 1947 to the late Hazel P. Graham.


He was a graduate of Gibbs High School. After graduation, he enlisted to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. He received a honorable discharge and returned home to take care of the family farm while working at Wellman Industries and then retired from Smurfit Stone Container after thirty-six years.


Jasper loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved family gatherings, listening to music, and talking about investing in stocks. 


At an early age, Jasper joined St. Luke AME Church. When he moved to Charleston, SC he became an associate member of First Baptist Church of James Island.


Jasper married the late Ruby Jean Hines in 1971. From this union two children were born.


Jasper leaves to cherish his fond memories his wife Delores Graham of Charleston, SC; children Fredessa Brown of Ladson, SC, Jasper (Quanda) Wright of Ellenwood, GA, Stephanie Graham of the home, Kevin (Raven) Graham of Ladson, SC; Rosalyn Ellis of Johnsonville, Sammy (Jannie) Pickens of Lake City, SC, Raymond (Roxanne) Roper Jr. of Greenville, SC, Troy (Demetria) Roper of Charleston, SC, and Reverend James (Shelly) Johnson of Summerville, SC; twenty-two grandchildren; five great-grands; sisters Evelena Graham and Doretha Parker both of Johnsonville, SC; brothers Solomon Graham, Charlie Graham and David Graham all of Johnsonville SC, Elder Felix (Lois) Graham of Quinby, SC; special cousins Loria Nesmith and Sarah Johnson both of Johnsonville; along with a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and other relatives.
