Mr. Jeremy Jerrod Barr, affectionately known as “Millz” by his family and friends, was born on August 13, 1987, in Florence, SC, to Julia M. Barr and Benny Rhodes. He departed this earthly life on January 23, 2026.

He attended the public schools of Florence School District One.

Millz was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, whose love and dedication to family and friends touched all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Though he faced life’s challenges, he approached each day with a warm heart and an open spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia M. Barr, and his father, Benny Rhodes.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Caleese Barr and Gabrielle Blyther; two brothers, Terrell Barr and Tyquan Jones; four sisters, Aprell Barr, Kyandra King, Chanequa Jones, and Cadisha Washington; his special friend, Nakoshia Wells, and her children, Zykim Butler and Jamison Mable; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
