It was Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 5:12 am, our dear brother Charles was called to rest by God‘s angel at McLeod‘s Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina.
Jessie “Charles” Eaddy, Jr. affectionately called Charles was born August 3, 1953 to Jessie Rat Eaddy & Annie Lou Belin Eaddy.
After a life of farming, Charles received his formal education at Stuckey School and graduated from Johnsonville High School.
After graduation he was employed with Wellman Industries where he was a life long employee, until his health failed.
He joined St. Mark AME Church at an early age and later accepted Christ in his life. Charles was a dedicated member of St. Mark Male Chorus and Trustee Board. His crowning moment was being the watchman for the church until his health failed. Charles was dutiful wherever needed in church.
Charles enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, fishing and loved to take pictures.
Cherishing his memories are siblings Bessie Williams, Mae Frances Eaddy, Helen Deas, James Lee (Julia) Eaddy, and Norman (Geneva) Woodberry; bonus siblings Mary Lou Hanna, Tina Woodberry, Catherine Woodberry, Calvin (Nadine) Woodberry, Kenneth Woodberry and Marvin Woodberry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative that loved him dearly; and his wonderful caregiver Carolyn Parker.
