On February 27, 2024, our beloved Karon Elease Davis departed her earthly life surrounded by those who loved her most. She was a devoted, mother, daughter grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Karon Elease Davis was born on December 19, 1967, to Elease P. Williams and Robert Lee Davis in Florence County. 

Karon received her education from Florence One District Schools and she graduated from Job Corp. She was employed at Maryland Fried Chicken for twenty-two years, and Personal Caregiver for two years. 

She was proceeded in death by her father Robert Lee Davis, her brother Ricky Peterson, sister Audrey Witherspoon, paternal grandparents Mrs. Lilliemae Moore Peterson and Eligah Briggs  Peterson, and stepfather, Frank Williams Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children Denise Jones, and Alex Davis; four grandchildren, Aleiah White, Ayman White, Jr., Jayden Davis, Kobe Counts all from Florence, SC; mother Elease P. Williams; three siblings, Larry T. Peterson, Phyllis (Russell) Greene, Melissa (William) Mccullough all from Florence, SC; one Aunt Evelyn Scott Davis from Philadelphia, PA; special cousin and best friend Dr. Leroy Peterson; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
