Laron Bernard Brown, 59, of Florence, SC was born on July 19, 1966.  He passed away peacefully, on April 2, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity that will forever be cherished by all who knew him. He is son of the late General Langston Brown and Ms. Adelaide Brown. 

Laron Brown graduated from South Florence High School in 1984 and attended Shaw University in Charlotte, NC and Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. He earned a Bachelor of  Science Degree in Math from Morris College in, Sumter, SC in 1993. He was the founder and owner of Brown Enterprise, Brown Construction, 2 Brown Coats, BE Tax Services and BE moving  and storage where he built a successful career.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Bonnie F. Brown; five children, Laron Brown, Jr., Charnelle Brown, Megan Pinckney-Rutherford (Todd), Tyra Brown, Jamarie L. Brown; seven grandchildren,  his siblings, Langston Levern (Faye) Brown, Cherylena Brown, Teresa Latice (Darrell) Brown, General DeCar (Doris) Brown, and Joseph Mack (Tonya) Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will continue to honor his memory and carry forward the love he shared so freely.

Laron’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family and community will never be forgotten. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or give whatever he could to those in need. He leaves behind a lasting impact on everyone, fortunate enough to have known him.
