Leroy Muldrow Jr. Obituary
Leroy Muldrow, lovingly known as “Mann,” passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 39 in Florence, South Carolina—the city he called home throughout his life.
Born on October 1, 1985, Mann was a man of warmth, rhythm, and deep devotion to those he loved. His joy lived in the laughter of his nieces and nephews, in music that moved his soul, and in every quiet moment spent with the people who mattered most. He found happiness not in material things, but in the presence of family and the comfort of connection.
To those who knew him, Mann was more than a brother, a partner, or an uncle—he was a steady presence, a soft-spoken strength, a heart that held room for everyone. Whether sharing a song, a joke, or a simple word of encouragement, his spirit left a lasting mark.
Mann is survived by his beloved sisters Shalonda Pringle (Derick Jones), Angela Pringle (Chantell Heyward), Maronica Muldrow (Shone Small); his brothers James “Cross-Cat” Washington and Gavin Godbolt (Sharell Godbolt); stepbrother Michael “BJ” Rafus Jr.; bonded siblings and family Serita Dally and Amanda Collins; bonded brother Kalvin Garland; special cousin/brother Melvin Gibson; his loving girlfriend, Veronica Simmons, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Mann; he will always be remembered and honored by his 600 Block Brothers, whose bond could never be broken—even by death Michael “BJ” Rafus Jr., Minister Jamel “Rico” Timmons, Rodney Blandin, Storm Sowell, Terrence McClellan, Kalvin Garland, and Michael Orange Jr.; a host of family, other relatives and friends.
