Levern Eaddy Barr was born on November 24, 1951 in Florence, South Carolina to Katherine Barr Fleming and Jack Eaddy. He departed this life on August 16, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.

At an early age he joined Highway Christian Church in Florence, South Carolina. God was his Lord and Savior.

He received is formal education at Gibbs School in Pamplico, South Carolina. He was employed with Marsh Lumber Company. Levern loved hunting and fishing.

He was married to Mary Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Leslie, sister Stephanie Morse, son Brianne and nephew Keldrick.

He leaves to cherish his memories four sons Junior (Deloris) Brown of Pamplico, SC,    Anthony (Dayna) Barr of Little River, SC, Willis James Brown of Effingham, SC, DaShawn Brown of Sumter, SC; one daughter Bernice Kelly Shaw of Florence, SC; six grandchildren Keyon, Jakira, Anthony Jr., Ayden, Terrance, Kayson-Dorsey; brothers Willie Joe (Bonnie) Barr of Effingham, SC, Robert (Pearlean) Fleming of Pamplico, SC, Ernie Joe (Diane) Barr of Florence, SC, James S. (Teebie) Barr of  Atlanta, GA; sisters Shirley (Herbert) Brown of Pamplico, SC, Wanda Fleming of Florence, SC, Janet (John) Vernon of New York, NY; nieces Tosha, Shania, Shirlee, Aa2Kiyah; nephews Shannon and Caysen; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
