Mr. Melvin James Johnson, Jr. “Gizmo” was born on February 18, 1986 in Florence, SC, son of Deloris and Melvin Johnson. He transitioned into eternal rest on February 19, 2024.

Melvin was a graduate of West Florence High School class of 2005. He worked several jobs to include Young’s Plantation and Safe Harbor.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father Melvin Johnson, maternal grandparents Mattie and Preston Titus, Jr. whom loved him dearly, paternal grandmother Louise Johnson, and four uncles.

Mr. Johnson leaves behind to cherish his memories: his mother Deloris Johnson, one brother Rodney (Connie) Titus of Florence, SC; two sisters Robin (Andre) Addison, Dana Johnson; four nephews; six nieces; uncles; aunts; numerous cousins; Adriean Simmons his special cousin who was always supportive; Demetria Thomas his loving and supportive girlfriend; two children he loved as his own Jamariyah and Promiss Carter and many dear friends.
