Nadine Gaskins Dixon Obituary

On June 23, 1971, in Paterson, New Jersey, a beautiful baby girl was born to Joyce Ann Gaskins Burgess and Isaac Milton, they named her Nadine. Her life’s journey ended and she entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2026.

She attended secondary schools in Paterson before earning her high school diploma from Lake City High School in 1989. Demonstrating a commitment to academic achievement, Nadine continued her education by obtaining certifications as a licensed nail technician and EMT for the lower Pee Dee Area. Most recently, she graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College in 2025, completing the Respiratory Therapy Program.

Her father, Isaac Milton preceded her in death.

Renowned for her vibrant personality, Nadine consistently pursued self-improvement, achieving a black belt in Taekwondo and cultivating a love for travel, particularly cruises. She maintained a strong dedication to health and wellness, inspiring others to prioritize fitness and an active lifestyle. Nadine’s devotion to family and her community was evident through her work at MUSC as a respiratory therapist specializing in critical care. She actively served those around her, notably by providing transportation and EMT services to many families. Her resilience and unwavering determination throughout personal challenges have left an enduring legacy on all who knew her.
