Preston Titus Jr.

Mr. Preston Titus, Jr. “Booger” was born on September 3, 1934 in Florence, SC, son of Nellie and Preston   Titus Sr. He transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on November 17, 2023 at McLeod Hospice House.

Preston attended Florence School District 1 schools. He retired from Southeastern Freight Line of  Florence, SC in October 2016.

Mr. Titus was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Lee Titus, parents Nellie and Preston Titus, Sr; sister Rosa Lee King; four brothers-in-law and their wives Garner (Menda) Lee, Lonner (Lucille) Lee, Sr. Cranston (Nancy) Lee and Leroy Lee along with numerous of uncles and aunts. 

Titus leaves loved ones to cherish his memories,fo ur daughters Ivied (David) Titus, Deloris (Ernest)   Johnson, Idena (Billy) Simmons, all of Florence, SC and Vernetta (Sean) Squire of Philadelphia, PA.; two sons Ludwie (Samantha) Titus and Christopher Titus both of Florence, SC; a host of grandchildren, two of the home Melvin and Dana Johnson; special niece Anndena Anderson; god daughters Cinderella Ellerbe and Frances Thomas; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
