Roscoe King
Obituary
Mr. Roscoe “Dick” King the son of Clifton and Louis Palmer was born on November 28, 1958 in Florence, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
“Dick” as he was lovingly called by family and friends attended McClenaghan High School. He was employed by SCDOT for fifteen years. He was also a truck driver and a cab driver.
He was a life long member of Salem United Methodist Church where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Louis Palmer.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons Tony Fleming, Davion Christian and Jeremy Chester; four grand children, three sisters Hattie (Ben) McLaughlin, Willie “Penny” Peguese and Diane (Sam) Chandler; three brothers Rufus Palmer, Randy (Monya) Palmer, and Fredrick Palmer; ten nephews; two nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
