Rudy Brown was born October 20, 1961, to Lee Roy (Randy) and Clementine Brown. He left this earthly home and gained his wings on September 6, 2023, in Florence, SC.at MUSC.
He grew up in Winston-Salem’s Morningside Community where he had friends who were much like family. He attended the public schools of Forsyth County, Winston-Salem and graduated from Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, NC. He attended DeVry University pursing a degree in engineering. Over the years, Rudy indulged in the art of music where he took those technological savvy skills of his and produced music amongst other things. He helped others with computers and programming. If time were to spare, he would even teach you a thing or two. He also loved sweet treats and his family. His love for his mother was unwavering. He supported Clemson as his college team because the name broken down into syllables read Clem, his mother’s name and he as her Son. He rolled hard for Tar Heels, because he's from N.C. He rolled even harder for the New England Patriots, a fan since childhood.
Rudy has brought much joy to many lives. He was all about peace and would make you laugh about anything. He was like a philosopher. He was full of knowledge. A smart intelligent hardworking family man, good with his hands. Jack of all trades, he literally did some of everything.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Chander and brothers David Jefferson (Chris), Byron Roberts Jr, Randy Chandler Jr (Junior) and Kendrick Chandler (Kenny).
