Mrs. Sandra D. Brown was 70, and departed this life on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Bishopville, SC.

Services are scheduled to be held 2pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at Genesis Baptist Church, 1004 Keefe Rd, Pamplico, SC.

Sandra D. Brown was born on December 14, 1951 to Ruth M. Grant Drayton and Phenis
Drayton in Florence County. She departed this earthly life on November 6, 2022.
She attended the public schools of Buffalo, New York. She was employed in the healthcare
field. She married Wilbert Brown in 1976 and to this Union two children were born. She
later had two other children.
She loved cooking, gardening and sewing. She moved to South Carolina in 2012 where she
joined Genesis Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor J. Daryl Wood.
Sandra loved her church and her Pastor, but most of all she loved the word of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Phenis and Ruth Drayton; sister Jeanette Drayton,
grandson Devonte’ Jefferson, three aunts and six uncles.
She leaves to mourn her passing four children, Camillia Brown, Phenis Brown, Japonia
Drayton and Timothy Jones all of Buffalo, New York; three brothers Joseph (Susan) Drayton
of Tacoma, Washington, William Drayton and James Drayton of Buffalo, New York; a
grandson/son Lionel Dodds of the Home, eleven additional grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren; four uncles, four aunts; a special niece Roslyn Bryant; special cousin
Larry Drayton and a special Aunt Mary Wood; a host of other relatives and friends
The Family suggest memorials go to Genesis Baptist Church Pamplico SC. Repast for the
family will be at 211 West 2nd Ave in Pamplico SC.
