Our Beloved Shirley Mae Smith Graham departed this earth, March 18, 2024 peacefully in Atlanta, GA surrounded by family and friends. She was born on April 14, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Lillie Mae Smith and Cecil Wright. She relocated to Fayetteville as a young girl, was raised by her loving family and grew up with her sisters and brothers.
Shirley lived abundantly in New Jersey where she started her family. She married and mothered her children, her loving sons, Kenneth, Henry, Raiham "Bamm", Armon "Mony", and her loving daughter Pamela.
Shirley was a successful business owner and cosmetologist for over 50 years. Her luminous hair salon, Fashion's Unlimited, continues to bless the community in South Carolina.
Her devotion to God, Our Savior, cultivated, as she was a faithful member of Monumental Baptist Church. Her illness resonated for many years and her devotion to God our Savior manifested throughout.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Smith, father, Cecil Wright, brother, John "Smitty" Smith, and Loving Son, Raiham "Bamm" Graham.
Shirley leaves behind to cherish precious memories her children Kenneth (Yvette) Graham, Henry (Aisha) Graham, Armon “Mony” Graham and Pamela Williams; beautiful granddaughters Shawntae (Darius) Graham, Taeshawn Graham, Brittany Wright, Beth Graham, Sarai Gardner, Shanya Fleming, Kennedi Graham and Kendall Graham; great-grandchildren Alexander Williams, Jr., Chastin Dumpson, Antonio Williams and Amon Williams; siblings Willie Mae (Ray) Roberts, Ada Quinn, Wanda Douglas, Ronnie Douglas, Queen Peterson, Charlotte (Alphonso) Brown, and Lee (Loretta) Douglas; she held close to her heart Stephen Monroe Sellers, Quadetra Baccus (Devonta & Taylor), Cathy Steadman, Miesha Washington; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and an abundance of friends.
Shirley lived an astonishing life, full and remarkable. To know her was to lover her. To be in her presence was an honor. She was just as beautiful inside as she was out. She will be missed tremendously.
