Shirley A. Wimberly Obituary

Shirley Ann Wimberly was born on September 1, 1946 in Miami, Florida to the late Leroy Daniels and Lillie Bell Flemming. She entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2024.

Shirley, became an entrepreneur of Jugglers Market, in Miami, Florida in 1987. She was a pillar of strength in the Liberty City community and for many a safe haven and leader for positive change. At an early age she received Christ under the leadership of her mother and father at Faith Temple in Miami, Florida. She expressed the love for Christ by exemplifying grace to others through her quiet strength. She had a fierce desire for learning new things, and sharing her knowledge with children. She had an immense capacity for photography, accounting and technology. Her newest interest was learning Spanish as a second language.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel Wimberly; sisters Alice Daniels, Elma Lee Washington, and Catherine Hurst; brothers Wilmer Daniels, and Walter (Butch) Daniels.

She leaves many to cherish her memory, two sons Derek (Charlene) Wimberly, Walter (Tihesha) Wimberly; daughter Natalie Wimberly; six grandchildren Billy, Derek, Brandi, Ki’ara, Dani, De’Ja, and Tyrese; three great grandchildren Malakai, Trevon, and Hermione; two sisters Ernestine Daniels and Lillie Thompkins; four brothers Rudolph Daniels, Alexander Daniels, Thadeus Daniels, and Leroy Daniels; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
