Tammy Renee’ Thompson Singletary was born on May 18, 1970 in Philadelphia, PA to James and Linda Thompson. On August 19, 2024, she entered into eternal rest.

She was a 1988 graduate of Job Corps in Pittsburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James “Timothy” Thompson, nephews Marcus Thompson, Malcolm Canty and Tyreek Holloman.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-five years Curtis Singletary of the home; children LaToya (Donovon) Simmons of  Florence, SC, Shawntiel Thompson, Jasmine (Emmanuel) Ferguson of Merritt Island, FL; grandchildren Doniya Hill, Nylaya Hill, Serenity Thompson, Javen Ferguson, Emani Ferguson and Shondelle Ferguson; siblings Maria (Christopher) McCain, Sherry Thompson both of Florence, SC, Carl-Ray (Pamela) Robinson of Concord, NC; aunts and uncles Chaffon (Otis) Barrino, Ernest (Rebecca) Broadway and Reginald Broadway, Davian (Kelly) Robinson, Princess Harrell, Shirley Broadway, Berthina (Tommy) Cline, Nathaniel Tyson; nieces and nephews Yasmine Durant, Hakeemah McCain, Kahliah Johnson, Kadesha (Eugene) Wilson and Aliyah Groves, Quantae Robinson, Kashif Scott, Tyree Thompson; special friends Benny Canty and Sylvester Scott; a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
