Wade Jackson was born on October 4, 1955  in Florence, South Carolina to James Lee and Sadie Mae Williams Jackson.  He departed this earthly life and went on to eternal rest on Thursday, August 1, 2024, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family as he entered into the Father’s arms.

Wade or “Suede Wade” as we called him, was educated in the public schools of Florence County and found work doing various manual labor skills. Anyone who knew him, knows his most beloved work and past time was detailing vehicles. He also enjoyed dancing, action movies and spending time with family.  While we are deeply saddened by his absence, we are happy to know that he rededicated his life to Christ before his passing, so he is rejoicing in the Glory of the Lord.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Sadie Mae Jackson, his  sisters, Catha Elaine Jackson and Christine Jackson Woodbury, and his nephew, Steven Javon Jackson. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving son, Xavier Wade Jackson of  Las Vegas, NV; brothers James Lee Jackson Jr (affectionately known as Bubba), Kenneth Jackson and Donald Jackson, all of the home in Florence; sisters Gloria Daniels, Darlene Jackson, Lois “Gail” Jackson, Janice Jackson and Connie Capehart, all of Florence, Carol V. Jackson of the DC Metro area; and two very dear lifelong friends, Scott and Brad. Also, there are a host of cousins, nieces and nephews that will keep his love in their hearts forever.
